Join us for the Parenting Conference: Fostering Resilience: Supporting Learners, Strengthening Communities on Saturday, November 7, from 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. at Eastview High School in Apple Valley.
This free event features opening remarks from Superintendent Michael Bolsoni, a keynote on “The Power of Brave Parenting” by Dr. Kathryn Hecht, and more than 20 breakout session topics presented by local experts and District 196 staff.
Parents and caregivers of children from birth through high school will gain practical strategies, helpful resources and fresh ideas to support their families.
Registration is encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome!
This event is free, but registration is recommended, and required for those needing childcare or an interpreter (ASL, Somali and Spanish available).
Childcare is available for children ages two years and older for $10 per family.
To search for classes, use one of the following methods:
- Enter a keyword(s) into the search bar and find the class of your choice. Click on the magnifying glass and search by any combination of time, days, start date, category, age/grade, location and more!
- Have a night free? Choose a date and see what engaging learning opportunities we have for you!
- Know the instructor's name? Enter their name into the search bar to find all classes taught by that instructor.
If you have not ever registered for any of our classes, you will need to create a new account in order to register for classes.
Please click on log in box in the upper right corner and then select create account to begin the process. Once you have entered all account information, you will receive a validation email to confirm your use.
