Irish Lacrosse Spring Preseason Camp (boys, grades 5-8)
Join us for our 2023 Preseason Training Camp. The preseason training camp is designed to help players prepare for the 2023 season and try outs. Coach Kuehn and the Rosemount High School team will lead youth players through drills designed to develop sticks skills and lacrosse IQ at the level required to be successful throughout the spring and summer season. The preseason training camp will consist of individual passing, catching, shooting, and groundball drills mixed in with several small field and large team drills. Players can expect to work on the entire range of lacrosse situations including one on one concepts to full field ten on ten rides and clears.
Possible location change if snow is still on field:
Monday: RHS main Gym 6:30-8
Tuesday: RHS main Gym 6:30-8
Wednesday: Dome 8-9:30
Thursday: RHS Main Gym 6:30 – 8
Lance Kuehn
Instructor
Lance Kuehn has been the head varsity lacrosse coach at Rosemount High School for the last 17 years and is a former head coach for TEAM MINNESOTA. As the head coach of Rosemount, he has over 150 varsity wins, state championship appearance, and several section final appearances. He is currently top 5 for number of wins as a coach and as a program in the history of Minnesota Boys Lacrosse. He currently teaches physics at RHS. He appreciates the hard work and teamwork required to play the sport of lacrosse. When he is not coaching or teaching, he enjoys running and spending time with his family
