Eastview Lightning Boys Volleyball Camp (grades 1-12)
Grades 1-4
Join Coach Dehnel and the Eastview boys volleyball athletes as they teach fundamental concepts of volleyball. Be introduced to the essential basic skills through games. Get active, have fun and come learn about volleyball!

Grades 5-8
Come discover the fundamental skills and game concepts of volleyball. Learn basic skills and basic team concepts, while playing and competing in a series of games. Experience one of the fastest growing boys high school sports in the country! No experience is necessary.

Grades 9-12
This camp will cover everything from the fundamental skills to organized team play concepts, in a fast paced balance of competing and playing games. Participants will learn essential skills and team organization. Learn the sport of volleyball or keep your skills up if you’ve played before. All experience levels welcome!

Ryan Dehnel
Instructor
Coach Dehnel brings 23 years of coaching experience, a passion for volleyball and a clear vision for mentoring Eastview student-athletes. In 2025, he led the EVHS boys volleyball varsity team to a 29-4 record, champions at the first ever South Suburban Conference Championship and a third place finish at the Section 1 Tournament - the first sanctioned MSHSL State Tournament. He was also named the first Minnesota Boys Volleyball Coaches Association Coach of the Year.
