Lifeguarding Instructor (ages 17+) - Spring Session

Become certified to teach American Red Cross Lifeguarding. Students that successfully complete the course will be provided the opportunity to become certified in Waterfront Lifeguarding for an additional fee. Attendance at all class sessions is mandatory. Sorry, no early bird discount.

Age Prerequisite: Students must be 17 years old by the last day of the class

Certification Prerequisite: Current Lifeguard certification

Skill Prerequisites:

• Successful completion of Lifeguarding swimming prerequisites
• Demonstration of competency with Lifeguarding skills
• Demonstration of competency when responding to scenarios involving rescues and emergency care
