Nature meets imagination as you craft a beautiful pinecone wreath accented with nuts and cinnamon sticks. Participants will hot glue pinecones, nuts, and cinnamon sticks onto wooden shapes to make an autumn holiday wreath. You will also learn how to identify some Minnesota pinecones and nuts.

Parents With Children Ages Birth-6 Years Separating Fathers of all types have an important relationship with their children that is instrumental in their development. Join together in a community of men to learn, share and play while building a support system rooted in fatherhood. This group will focus on quality time with our kids, including gym time. Relaxed discussions about parenting and what it means to be a dad are included. Bring your experiences as a father, or father figure, to share with the group and take home new tips and ideas from both other dads and our parenting educator. Your children will make new friends and learn skills with the guidance of our early childhood teachers.

Join other drivers 55 and older to improve your overall driving skills. This defensive driving series has a proven record of reducing accidents and traffic violations. Enjoy a fun day outdoors playing disc golf at Alimagnet Park! This 12-hole course offers a mix of open and wooded holes, great for all skill levels. Some areas of the course include uneven and natural terrain. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable walking shoes. Discs will be provided if needed.

Fall is a great time to get back to lacrosse! Continue developing your shooting, passing, ground ball and defense skills. The first hour will be a training session to improve your individual skills. Then be grouped by age and skill level for a competitive scrimmage. Improve your lacrosse IQ and decision making skills. Participants can choose to purchase a pair of shorts with registration. Register before August 1 and receive the early bird rate - $95 for shorts; $75 without shorts. Starting August 1, the rate will increase to $100 with shorts, $80 without.

In this class you will discuss how children relate to one another as siblings in your ever-changing family systems. By understanding your children’s different temperaments, you will be able to help them live together and get their needs met in a win-win style.

Eastview’s academic enrichment program in Geometry provides an opportunity for a student to accelerate his/her math curriculum. The main purpose should be to put a student on a path to reach a higher level class than they would normally reach before graduation. Guideline qualifications for independent study (enrichment/credit by assessment) include completion of prerequisite classes, a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative G.P.A., and at least an A- (3.70 G.P.A.) average in math. The student must display a high interest in the subject area, show evidence of self-motivation and self-discipline, and come with the recommendation of his/her teacher. Completion of this program is equivalent to a full year of high school geometry. Upon acceptance, the cooperating teacher will be in touch with all students to distribute materials and confirm spring dates and times.
