Parent Tot (ages 6 to 36 months) - Fall Saturdays at Scott Highlands Middle SchoolSwim Lessons-Infant and Preschool (ages 6 months to 5 years)If the class you are registering for is full, please register for the waitlist. The waitlist allows us to better serve you. We will work to move you into the class as staffing allows and notify you upon placement. Parent Tot (ages 6 to 36 months) Learn to enjoy the water safely with your child for ages 6 to 36 months accompanied by a parent or guardian in the water. Safety topics: Basic water safety, Healthy swimming, Safe water entry, Helping yourself and others in an emergency, Use of lifejackets, Safe weather conditions for swimming, and Waterpark safety. Course format: Classes run 30 minutes with 10 parent/child pairs per instructor. Registration tip: Children, at the age of 3, may register for Preschool 1 to be in a class without a parent or Preschool 1 with Parent if the parent or guardian would like to accompany the child in the class.Aquatics Fall 2026 -
Preschool 1 with Parent (ages 3 to 5) - Fall Saturdays at Scott Highlands Middle SchoolSwim Lessons-Infant and Preschool (ages 6 months to 5 years)If you are unable to find a class to meet your needs, please call us at 952-431-8777 as we can frequently make adjustments to accommodate your requests. Preschool 1 with Parent (ages 3 to 5) Preschoolers learn to enjoy water safely and perform basic skills with the comfort of a parent or guardian in the water. Skills performed with flotation include: Enter and exit the water safely Submerge and explore underwater Glide and recover on front and back Float on back Roll over front to back, back to front Swim on front and back, 5 yd. Exit Skills: Enter water unassisted, move 5 yd, submerge mouth & blow bubbles 3 sec then safely exit the water Font glide face in 2 body lengths, roll to back & float 3 sec, recover to vertical.
