Overdose Response (Naloxone) Training

Learn how to use naloxone (Narcan®) to save a life. Naloxone is a medication that reverses an opioid overdose, from oxycodone, heroin or fentanyl. Understand the current state of the opioid crisis in Dakota County. Learn to recognize an overdose, how to administer naloxone and how you are protected by Good Samaritan laws (Steve’s Law). Free naloxone kits provided. Training facilitated by Dakota County Public Health and the Steve Rummler HOPE Network. Registration is recommended, not required.
