The District 196 Music Department, in partnership with District 196 Community Education, is excited to offer Deerwood Da Capo Choir for students in grades 3–5. Da Capo is a non-auditioned choir that focuses on vocal technique, music reading, and artistic expression in a fun and educational setting. Students will also have the opportunity to perform as part of an ensemble. Rehearsals The choir meets once a week after school for eight weeks. When registering, please choose Monday or Wednesday. Space is limited, so students must attend the day they select and cannot switch between groups from week to week.
